Running Suicides Was Never a Good Idea

The Volleyball Experience di Jim Seidel

Note sull'episodio

If you've ever read some of my other articles, you'll know that I am not a fan of making hard running as a punishment for whatever. In volleyball I've seen too many coaches get upset with their players platform, or stance, not moving their feet to the ball or whatever and blow up at them and make that person or team run what is commonly referred to as "suicides". Suicide is the second-leading cause of death among people age 15 to 24 in the U.S. Nearly 20% of high school students report serious thoughts of suicide and 9% have made an attempt to take their lives, according to the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
