In today’s Gospel reflection, we continue directly from yesterday’s lesson in Mark 6:1–6, where Jesus was rejected in His hometown. Now, in Mark 6:7–13, Jesus responds to rejection in a surprising way—He sends the Twelve out on mission. In this teaching, we explore why Jesus sends them two by two, why He commands them to take nothing for the journey, and how this moment becomes a model for Christian discipleship, trust, and spiritual authority.
