The United States and Israel invaded Iran on February 28, 2026. The modern Islamic Republic of Iran has made it virtually impossible to have peace in the Middle East. Iran is Persia. The Bible names Persia several times. Persia has a prominent position in Bible prophecy. Some prophecies concerning Persia and its leader have already been fulfilled.
