Chicago police are investigating a violent shootout in South Chicago that left a suspect seriously injured and a 19-year-old fatally shot in West Lawn during weekend shootings. A landlord in downtown Chicago also reported a $40,000 scam loss after a scammer occupied his condo for nearly a year.
