In this sermon, Chris Wright @LanghamPartnershipUKI explores one of the most searching biblical questions: what does it really mean to know God?
Drawing from Jeremiah 9:23β24, Wright challenges the common assumption that knowing God is primarily about knowledge, experience, or spiritual privilege. Instead, Scripture defines knowing God as sharing in what God Himself delights in β steadfast love, justice, and righteousness.
Wisdom, strength, and wealth are all good gifts from God β yet Jeremiah warns against boasting in them. True boasting, Wright argues, belongs only in this: understanding and knowing the Lord, expressed in lives marked by mercy, justice, and integrity.
