Surprisingly, John’s Gospel does not discuss Jesus’ institution of the Lord’s Supper during the Passover Meal.

Instead, John tells of Jesus interrupting the meal to focus on a critical lesson for his disciples to learn. It was a lesson about Kingdom of God virtues and values. For John and Jesus, this was an extremely important lesson. Hopefully, it will be important to you as well.
