From Division to Dialogue: Race in the U.S. (Conversation with Dig In)

In Spring 2021, our Adult Education class at the Cathedral of Saint James had a series of discussions titled 'From Division and Dialogue: Working Towards Life Together.' In this seven-week series, we discussed what divisions we see in our communities, from faith to politics to race, and the barriers to life together that have resulted. We asked the questions: What is at the root of these divisions? Given our divisions, how do we approach dialogue? Are there any current examples of dialogue that can serve as a model for addressing these divisions? And, finally, what is the end/purpose of dialogue?
