Alex Mirabal found him as a high three-star at a Division V school in Zoarville, Ohio, and offered him before anybody else did Alabama came in only after he'd already committed to Miami. The consensus is that he's too tall to play inside. In a survey of 101 NFL guards, thirty-seven were 6'4" and exactly zero were 6'8". So the skepticism is fair.
