The Mavens were at Town Hall for a Charity Poker Tournament. Opal learned that Nathaniel Hale has taken a special interest in the restoration of the USS Indubitable. Lita helped contribute to the downfall of the reigning poker champ, Tony Martinez. Beulah ensured that that Dan Gardner, a property developer wouldn’t be walking away a winner, and Darya also helped make sure that Mayor Simons didn’t win big at the tables.

As the final contestants prepared for the last showdown of the night, the lights went off and poker expert Charles “Ace” Rogers was shot dead.
