If it weren’t for the patience of God, the world as we know it would be consumed in an instant. Peter testifies that God is not willing that any would perish, but that all would come to repentance. God delays from pouring out His wrath to give people time to turn to Him and live. As Christians were called to live patient lives, just as God is a patient, merciful God.
