Summary: John 17 is the longest prayer of Jesus recorded in the Bible, right before His betrayal and crucifixion. It could be argued that this is the most important prayer of Jesus in the Bible, maybe the most important prayer in the Bible. Jesus is praying for His own glorification, Himself, His disciples, and lastly, He is praying for the Church, us.
