The Road to the Cross

Bible Readings: John 12:12-26

Summary: Jesus was making a statement by using a donkey.

His kingdom is a kingdom of peace not a kingdom of war and

domination and He is the Messiah prophesied by Zechariah.

He gave His life as a ransom for many! This was His road to

the cross to lay down His life as a ransom for many! He came

as the Prince of Peace to bring the Gospel of peace and to

give hope to the hopeless, to save them from sin and to give

true righteousness, so that we can be right with God and our

relationship with Him can be restored, the relationship that

sin has destroyed. He is your only hope in circumstances

beyond your control. He is the Saviour of all mankind! The

crowd welcomed Him with their garments on the road and

palm branches  ...
