Summary: Our Bible Reading tells about difficult times. A

time of slavery and murder. Did God forget His covenant?

His covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob that they would

possess the land of Canaan and that their descendants would

be like the stars of heaven and like the sand of the sea! Was

this the end? All the boys, the bearers of the Covenant sign,

namely circumcision, were murdered. No, the Lord provided

Moses whom the Lord would use to free His people.
