Metropolis (1927)
Better Than Citizen Kane? - An Aud Brothers Podcast di The Aud Brothers
Note sull'episodio
On this episode of BTCK, we're heading back almost a full century to one of the earliest science-fiction films ever made; Fritz Lang's 1927 classic Metropolis. As the first pre-Kane film we've looked at on the show, let's size it up and see if it manages to beat out its younger brother.
Often considered to be the "greatest film of all time", 1941's Citizen Kane is a benchmark of the cinematic art form. However, hosts Max Bennion and Parker Rawlins have chosen to put that claim to the test. By examining films both past and present, the pair hold each up and ask the penultimate question - "Better Than Citizen Kane?"
