Ephesians 1:15–2:10 | Pastor Anthony Watson
What does it really mean to be alive in Christ?
As we continue our journey through Paul’s Letter to the Ephesians, Paul prays that our eyes would be opened to the hope we have in Jesus and the incredible power of God at work in us.
Then comes one of the great contrasts of the gospel: we were dead in our sins, but God, rich in mercy and because of His great love for us, made us alive with Christ.
This is not something we achieve or earn. It is the gift of God’s grace.
“But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ… it is by grace you have been saved.” — Ephesians 2:4–5
