What picture of God are you carrying?

An angry policeman? A distant landlord? A disappointed parent? A scorekeeper? Sometimes the images we carry of God become distorted—and those distortions can shape the way we see ourselves, the way we see others, and the way we live.

When Philip says to Jesus, “Lord, show us the Father,” Jesus gives a remarkable answer: “Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father.”

In this message, we lay down some of our distorted images of God and look again at Jesus, the One who reveals the Father.

When we see Jesus more clearly, we see God more clearly. And when we see God more clearly, we begin to see ourselves and others differently too.
