Algeria: Revolutionary Sundae

Bar Afrique Season 2 di Sarah Masiyiwa & Line Talla

Note sull'episodio

On September 30th 1956, a young Algerian woman walked into the popular Milk Bar cafe, a hang out spot for European youth. She bought an ice cream, ate it, and then left. Minutes later, a bomb in the bag she left behind exploded.

This is the story of the Milk Bar bombing and the young, perhaps controversial, revolutionary behind it, Zohra Drif.
