Meet Emily Hylden (Reverend)
Reverend Emily Hylden is a leader at the Episcopal Church of the Ascension in Lafayette, LA. A graduate of Duke University, Mother Emily is also a certified yoga instructor, and a spiritual director, runs a podcast, and is raising her three young boys with her husband, Father Jordan Hylden. Mother Emily leads not only our PK3 - 12th grade students in worship but also leads the church and school community with her peaceful, heartfelt preachings. Meet Shome Dasgupta (English Teacher/Writer)
Shome Dasgupta is an Ascension alumnus, upper school English Teacher, and yearbook and journalism sponsor. Meet Coach Sciambra (PE Coach)
Coach Sciambra has coached our lower and middle school Blue Gators to better health since 1995. Having coached volleyball, tennis, basketball, baseball, and golf, Coach Sciambra has also performed on stage.
