The 1984 manuscript has this epsiode as its final, enumerated book. There is only an epilogue remaining in part one, and it was not counted in the number of books. The prologue was also not numbered. The original poem does contain the lines, "tombstones of Astroturf, /stars fallen to the ground." It has been found in the Book of Enoch that he describes one event in his vision of the apocalypse as being a series of "stars of heaven" that fall to the Earth. The added lines in this podcast version of the poem clarifies the meaning of that prophecy and the premonition about the apocalyptic event appearing in the original, 1984 manuscript of "The Quest of Psychelapse."
