The Kentucky Wildcats have improved to 3-0 with a home victory over Youngstown State over the weekend. It was a homecoming for Mark Stoops as he was honored as the all time winningest coach in school history with his family and close friends in attendance. The Cats were able to pitch a shutout for the first time in the Mark Stoops era as the defense was ratcheted up a level. From the defensive line to the secondary it was a complete team effort on that side of the ball.
