Incredibly powerful and respected, able to banish people from society for breaking the sacred laws, and even able to come between two opposing armies and prevent warfare! Priests, physicians, judges, and legislators, druids were revered and helped keep order in Celtic societies. Although the Romans came in and tried to wipe them out, it's safe to say that in more recent years, they've really tickled our fancy.
