In this episode of After Hours Arc, I get into Mashle: Magic and Muscles — and this one caught me off guard.

We follow Mash, a character with zero magic in a world that revolves around it, and instead of spells, he’s solving everything with pure strength.

What I liked most is how committed the show is to its humor. It leans fully into the ridiculousness, but still builds a story underneath it with real stakes.

As things progress, it becomes more than just a joke. Between the academy, the divine visionary system, and Innocent Zero, the world starts to open up in a bigger way.

It’s simple, it’s funny, and it does just enough to keep things interesting.
