Daniel: Faithfulness, Prophecy, and God’s Counsel for His People

📝 Summary: We studied the Book of Daniel with a focus on its prophetic content and the counsel of God for His people. We reflected on how God’s covenant with Israel shifted from a physical nation to a spiritual people in Christ, and how prophecy reveals God’s sovereignty over nations and rulers. Daniel and his companions served as examples of faithfulness under persecution, remaining undefiled while submitting to earthly authorities. We were reminded that God’s people are called to live as heavenly citizens on earth—separate from the world’s systems, yet faithful in witness. The study emphasized reliance on the Holy Spirit for understanding, the necessity of humility, and the assurance of God’s covenant promises.
