SHAKE OFF THE DUST

What happens when we are trying to do right, but our vision becomes clouded?

Isaiah finds Zion sitting in the dust. Deuteronomy puts justice at the gate. Acts finds Saul on the road—educated, zealous, certain, and still capable of doing harm.

This study asks a harder question than simply, “Are we pursuing justice?”

Are we pursuing it justly?

Liberation changes our condition, but it does not automatically heal our posture. We can come out of bondage and still walk like the chains are there. We can remember oppression and still reproduce it once power changes hands. We can know Scripture, love God, and become so certain of ourselves that we lose the ability to be corrected.
