“YOLO” with Bella Answeeney
In the famous words of Bella Answeeney: YOLO. In this episode, Bella reflects on her freshman year experiences, touching on her ups and downs and advising future freshmen to be open to new experiences! Bella’s positivity and passion for life is evident throughout this episode as she continues to keep her head up even in the toughest of times, which is one reason why I respect her so much and value our friendship. I hope this episode brings you a couple laughs and leaves you with a little something to take away!!
“People Carry With Them How You Made Them Feel” with Alexis Mast
In this episode, I throw it back to a conversation recorded in April of 2024 with Alexis Mast. I was fortunate enough to call Alexis my teammate turned soul sister as we experienced our freshmen year while swimming at North Carolina State together. While we both had our fair share of up’s and downs, we did make it out the other side and have reflections to share. This episode details freshmen year advice for athletes and non-athlete, general life advice about moving forward through hard times, and being appreciative of the time you have surrounded with special people. This girls energy is obviously contagious and I hope you enjoy this episode and find something to take away from it…. She will definitely be back. :) Follow Teagan on instagram @teagansteinmetz and @yourealreadyeverything and Alexis @_alexismast ! You’re Already Everything 😋

This episode is so special!!! I bring on NC State women's basketball players Zoe Brooks and Mallory Collier to share their journey of their freshmen year. Coming into the season unranked, and ending up dancing their way to the Final Four, this duo goes behind the scenes of their record breaking season. They speak on handling the media, pressures, keeping a tough mindset, being a part of a sisterhood, and the importance of a good dance. Mallory shares a phrase that I will now be obsessed with: "Be obsessed with your own potential"...Good stuff!! Please enjoy this episode and all the fun and insight these two have to bring!! You're Already Everything....In and Out of the Pool with Katey Lewicki
In this episode, I bring in my Wolfpack teammate and fellow Colorado friend, Katey Lewicki. Here she takes us through her journey with the sport of swimming, spanning from her childhood to her choice to take an early retirement in her senior year. Katey touches on her highs and lows throughout the sport, including her huge accomplishment of qualifying for NCAA's her freshmen year. Katey touches on difficulties through Covid times, coaching changes, body image, and having anxiety and depression in the sport, as well as emphasizing the importance of asking for help and finding with outside your sport. There are takeaways for athletes of all levels. Even for non-athletes, I believe this episode offers perspective and insight into the thoughts and potential hardships in elite athletics. I love this episode, I love Katey Lewicki, and I love everything she was willing to share here on this podcast. I hope you appreciate her vulnerability and experienced advice as much as I do! THROWBACK SPECIAL!!! Never too late to "Begin Again" (Rosie's Version)
This one’s a good one! Recorded back before we left for college, I bring on my best friend and lifelong teammate Rosie Jump onto the podcast to share her story. We mostly talk about her story in swimming, leading to quitting swimming the summer of her junior year… and later coming back out of “retirement” a mere 9 months later… better than ever. This funnels into conversation about the importance of mental health in the sport of swimming and recognizing when a break might just be the best thing! You know us, Swiftie best friends as well. We take a nice intermission (like half the episode) to discuss our favorite songs from each album as well as our recommendations for those looking to get into Taylor Swift’s music. (It’s never too late :) ) Skip over to minute 39 if you do not want to hear about Taylor Swift... Hopefully you get some laughs from this episode and it serves as a valuable reminder of the importance you carry OUTSIDE of your sport. Your sport and your accolades along the way will never solely define you!!!!!!!!!! You can always return to activities and people you love!!
Let’s Catch Up! Welcome back to You’re Already Everything.
Hey friends, it’s been a minute! I would like to welcome you back to this podcast. It’s been quite the transition to a student-athlete college transition! I needed some time for myself to reflect on my purpose towards this podcast, as well as ensuring I can bring this podcast back in a safer way. In this episode, I really just share about my life. Per request, I take you a little through a typical week in my life and talk about my classes and swimming, living in North Carolina, etc. I also detail some difficult events and periods of time I have been battling through, and how that contributes to seeking to bring this podcast back. As I seek to let go of some of my perfectionistic ways, this episode will not include a transcript and is genuinely being posted right after I have finished recording. Thank you for taking the time to listen to my thoughts and role with me as I go on my tangents ;) A reminder that you are already everything. Tough times and thoughts do not define you, and it is okay to experience times of unhappiness, uncertainty, hopelessness and other negative emotions. I encourage you to take a step and ask for help when these feelings become overwhelming and for extended periods of time. Please enjoy a little hour of my life’s updates, and hopefully a few laughs in there despite some serious topics!!! And as always, I love hearing from you :) Welcome back! I am so happy you are here.
