“Jekyll and Hyde” was adapted by Robert Boniwell from Robert Louis Stevenson's novella, “The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde,” since it was in the public domain. It was intended as a drama, but the performances leave some doubt about that characterization.
