This Is Why Mercedes Mone Really Joined AEW

MERCEDES MONE EXPLAINED WHY SHE HAS STAYED IN AEW AND ONE PHRASE IN IT IS AIMED SQUARELY AT HER OLD JOB.

Speaking to The Daily Star, she described her AEW run as amazing, rewarding and freeing, and said it has been the best she has ever been able to perform because of the freedom she has been given.

Then she got specific about what that freedom actually means, and it is not about creative control or match length.

It is about not being told no, and about not being afraid of being told no before you even ask.

Reports have said she and WWE discussed a return in 2023 and no deal came together.

Do you want to see her back in WWE, or is she better where she is?
