Desire the Right: The Falklands War, Part 1: South Georgia to Deadlock

In the first episode of Desire the Right: The Falklands War, James explores the events that led to the outbreak of war in 1982, beginning with the occupation of South Georgia and the escalating tensions between Britain and Argentina.

From the initial crisis and diplomatic efforts to resolve the situation, to the British response and the growing military confrontation in the South Atlantic, this episode follows the story as events move towards deadlock.

How did a long-running dispute over a remote group of islands develop into an international crisis — and ultimately, a war?

Join James as he explores the early stages of the Falklands conflict.
