Peer pressure, we thought we left that behind in high school. Am I right? I didn't expect to face it so strongly as an adult, but yet here I am.

Today we look at 1 Samuel 8, the Israelites were demanding a king because all of the other nations had it. They didn't consider the consequences that would come with it. They were laser focused on having what the world had.

We can fight this compromise in our hearts by staying grounded in the Word of God.
