The Shattered Veil — Where Hope Takes Root
Episodes 1–4 | Omnibus Chapter 1
As war tears Hammanaroth apart, a forgotten farmstead becomes an unlikely refuge for soldiers, traders and desperate wanderers. Strangers are forced into uneasy alliances, but trust is hard won when every traveller carries secrets and danger is never far behind.
An ambush at Elna’s cart plunges the fledgling camp into a brutal fight, while Faedra’s terrifying scream reveals a glimpse of something far more dangerous. As new faces arrive and old bonds resurface, dwindling supplies, buried secrets and devastating personal loss threaten to tear the group apart before it has truly formed.
With hunger closing in, Bjorn and Kremlev take desperate measures to keep everyone fed, transforming the farmstead into something resembling a home. But as smoke rises from their newly built smokehouse, more strangers appear on the road.
In a land consumed by war, can a handful of strangers build something worth protecting—or have they simply given their enemies a place to find them?
