But as the disciples stand watching Jesus ascend, asking if now is the time, they’re gently reminded that some things aren’t ours to define. Instead of answers, they’re given a promise—and an invitation to wait. And in that space between what was said and what will be fulfilled, there’s a different kind of work happening. A deeper trust is formed, expectations are surrendered, and hearts are prepared for what’s coming next.
