Nuclear Butterfingers 2: International Boogaloo

What do bad movie sequels and Cold War nuclear accidents have in common? Absolutely nothing—but we’re doing both anyway.

In this episode of Waywut, Darrell kicks things off with a fiery takedown of lazy Hollywood sequels that ruin good stories (Joker 2, Star Wars, we're looking at you). Then Jason dives into a series of jaw-dropping real-world military incidents involving lost nuclear bombs, international confusion, and one Spanish fisherman who tried to cash in.

💣 Inside This Episode:

• Why sequels often ruin beloved characters—and why Hollywood can’t stop
• A U.S. bomber drops a hydrogen bomb into the ocean near Japan
• A mid-air collision spreads radioactive fallout over a Spanish beach
• A nuclear cleanup in Greenland involving broken bombs and Arctic fires
• A fisherman tries to file paperwork for ownership of a live warhead
• Plus: how close we’ve come to accidental annihilation… repeatedly

It’s part movie rant, part military facepalm, and all Waywut.
