Good afternoon. Washington. I'm Aaron Jolly. Step outside and you'll feel that damp chill cutting through your jacket. We picked up a tenth of an inch of rain overnight. And it's still falling. Temperatures are sitting at 46 degrees — about 27 degrees above normal for early March, but that wet cold makes it feel colder than the number suggests. Around Puget Sound, steady rain sticks with you through noon with highs near 52 before temperatures drop this afternoon. Down in the South Sound, rain wraps up by 4 P.M. With highs hitting 53. Head east and it's a completely different day. Eastern Washington sees partly sunny skies with a high near 57, but gusty southwest winds to 22 miles an hour with gusts hitting 38. Hold onto your hats out there. Tonight brings the drama. Snow levels crash from 6,000 feet down to 1,500 feet by early evening. Puget Soun ...
