In this powerful episode of Voices from the Streets, Executive Director Pastor Robert Briggs sits down with Union Gospel Mission receptionist—and much more—Franci Haynes. Born and raised in Sacramento, Franci opens up about her unique spiritual journey, from being raised in the Jehovah’s Witness organization to finding true freedom in Christ in her late twenties.
Franci shares candidly about seasons of rebellion, deep loss, illness, and how God faithfully brought her back to Himself. Listeners will hear how the Lord led her—through unexpected doors—straight to Union Gospel Mission, where she now serves daily on the front lines of ministry.
With a front-row seat to the transforming work happening in the lives of men in the New Life Program, Francie describes the incredible before-and-after moments she witnesses as hardened hearts soften under the gospel. She also reflects on the challenges and urgent needs facing women on the streets of Sacramento.
This heartfelt conversation highlights God’s sovereignty, the beauty of redemption, and the vital role compassionate staff like Francie play in the mission’s ministry.
Tune in and be encouraged by a testimony of hope, healing, and the life-changing power of Jesus Christ.
