Your morning Virginia weather update Dense fog is creating hazardous driving conditions across much of Virginia this Saturday morning, with visibility dropping to a quarter-mile or less in many areas. The National Weather Service has issued Special Weather Statements for both Central Virginia and Hampton Roads through mid-morning. Right now, patchy fog is thickest along river valleys and low-lying areas.
