This past Sunday, we had the privilege of hosting Troy Brewer and his wife, Leanna, from Troy Brewer Ministries, who have rescued over 11,000 children from sex trafficking and serve vulnerable populations in Mexico, India, Colombia, and Uganda. Troy inspired us with testimonies of miracles and challenged us to adopt a kingdom mindset—brave and fearless. He emphasized that true courage means allowing the presence of the Lord to shift atmospheres and prioritizing God's call over personal comfort. He reminded us that safety isn’t our highest aim; instead, we are called to act boldly in bringing God’s kingdom to earth, fully surrendered to the King, and focused on seeing people saved and set free. 10-27-24 10 am | Vida Church

10/6/24 10 am This Sunday, Vida Church welcomed guest speakers Ashley and Carlie Terradez, who shared powerful testimonies of miraculous healings in their own lives. Their daughter, Hannah, who had been diagnosed with an incurable disease and given just one week to live, is now completely healed and thriving. Carlie herself, once tormented by grand-mal seizures, has also been fully restored. Their stories are living proof that God’s healing power is real and available today! Ashley’s message addressed the fundamental question of whether God wants to heal us, emphasizing that healing is an integral part of the gospel and a reflection of God's unchanging nature. He stressed that God is always able and willing to heal, and encouraged the congregation to pray with faith knowing that healing belongs to God's children.

By standing firm in the righteousness we have through Christ’s blood, we strip the enemy of his power and avoid being robbed of God’s promises and blessings.

Despite facing a devastating crisis in their marriage years ago, they found hope in the truth that our Redeemer lives, emphasizing that God can turn setbacks into something extraordinary. They reminded us that living a Spirit-led life filled with righteousness, peace, and joy not only benefits us but also draws others to Christ through our transformed lives. By anchoring our hope in the finished work of the cross and aligning our hearts with God's promises, we can experience true transformation from the inside out. And for those who struggle to hear the Holy Spirit, they reassured us that the Word promises, “My sheep hear my voice,” and offered guidance on practicing hearing God’s voice.
