A warm front is lifting north from the mid-Atlantic. It's riding up and over the dense cold air currently parked over Vermont. This overrunning pattern sets the stage for snow by this afternoon. In the next 24 hours. Southern Vermont sees the first flakes around noon. You'll get heavy snow accumulating 2 to 4 inches. Temperatures hover near 32 degrees.
