In Las Vegas there are (some say extreme) licensing and “conditional use verifications” required, which means not everyone can use their home/condo as an Aibnb. Some see these regulations as a violation of personal property rights? There is speculation that the hospitality/casino lobby in Nevada is forcing municipalities to impose harder restrictions because they are concerned about competition.
