Donald Trump has praised Mark Carney, calling him a ‘very nice gentleman,’ and inviting the Prime Minister to a meeting sometime next week. Trump has shrugged off previous comments by Carney noting he was running for office. Canada is still subjected to 25 per cent tariffs on several key exports including steel, aluminum and vehicles manufactured in this country.
