Get Up Off Your Couch!
IF YOUR NEIGHBOR'S HOUSE WAS BURNING WITH CHILDREN INSIDE, WOULD YOU SIT ON YOUR PORCH, EAT POPCORN AND SAY, “IT'S NONE OF MY BUSINESS”? Of course not. So why do we tolerate that attitude when innocent human lives are at stake? In this episode of the We Are Voices 4 Life Podcast, we're confronting three dangerous places Christians can get far too comfortable: The Couch of COMFORT The Couch of CONFORMITY The Couch of COMPLACENCY Lori and I once sat on our own couch watching Bishop Patrick Wooden preach about the sanctity of human life—never imagining that God would use what we heard to help move us from WATCHING to DOING. Now I'm asking YOU: Which couch are you sitting on—and what is keeping you there? The house is burning. PUT DOWN THE POPCORN. GET OFF THE COUCH. DO SOMETHING!
