This podcast explains the sealing power and the role of Elijah as one who held the keys of the sealing power anciently. As the last prophet to hold the sealing power anciently, Elijah was translated so that he could then appear to Jesus Christ and to Peter, James and John on the mount of Transfiguration and bestow upon them the keys of the sealing power, which are the keys of the kingdom.
