Temporada 1

Dear Best Friend who's not a Leo: I really missed you. Now let's live in that commune already!

Welcome to the Unsent Show Podcast! Unsent is a live show where brave souls get on the mic to share messages they wrote but never sent. Our podcast features live recordings from our shows, like this one at Town Hall Collaborative on January 25th, 2025 in Denver, where our featured reader of the week, Miriam Moreno, took to the stage! Miriam Moreno (@catholicguilt) is a Mexican immigrant who is based in Denver. Once described as a “semi depressed goth Latina in a good way,”her humor makes any dark topic seem laughable. She’s been featured on High Plains Comedy Festival, Boulder Comedy Festival, Savage Henry comedy fest. Her sketches have placed first several times at the Phone It In Film Fest. She is the host and writer of Good Night Denver, a beloved and unhinged live late night comedy talk show. Join us @unsentshow for fun Unsent updates and live events in your area. If you have an unsent message you’d like us to share on this podcast, email us at unsentshow@gmail.com! And be sure to join us live in Denver on April 25th 2025 for our Money Edition, and September 26th 2025 for our Sex Edition presented by Sexploratorium. Dear Dad: I need to tell you something...but I can't.

We're thrilled to feature Kenny Beahm on this week's podcast! Kenny got on the Unsent mic at Rock Steady Bar in Feb 2020. He floored the crowd with his surprising, hilarious and wild unsent message to his father that he definitely never sent. Kenny Beahm is a comedian, ukulele slinger, and cardio dance fitness teacher from Denver, Colorado. Former church kid turned iced coffee enthusiast, he’s traded in signing worship songs for watching the world spin wildly out of control. When not making people laugh or leading a workout class, you’ll find him strumming his ukulele, pretending to have it all figured out. Spoiler: he don’t! Dear Partner: Let's Get Married! But first, 40 reasons I love you.

This episode is extra special. It went down at Rock Steady (now Wide Right) Bar in Denver in Feb 2020, right before Covid...It was the first (and only), so far!) time someone read an Unsent to someone in the audience. And it was one of the first times Britt, Unsent host, shared a message of her own on the mic. Since this show, so much has happened for all of us. And...Britt and Saxon did get married - a few times! In fact, one time was at an Unsent Show in April 2023! But we'll get to that in a future episode. For now, enjoy this honest, raw, loving, funny - and sometimes shocking - list of reasons why Britt loves her partner-now-husband, Saxon, who produces Unsent with Britt as part of their Three Things healing arts non profit, offering music and writing offerings for healing. Join us live in Denver for our FRIENDS EDITION, Jan 25 2025 8pm at Town Hall Collaborative! Tix on Eventbrite. 100% of ticket proceeds will benefit Three Things! @unsentshow

Unsent Show Episode 11: Brianna Carey

Special guest and friend of Unsent, Brianna Carey, listened to the recording of her Unsent she read aloud at Unsent Show on April 22, 2023 in Denver, and she was inspired by how much she's grown since then in every way. It propelled her to write these powerful words: "My fire was a bridge to self-discovery. The path to self-discovery is a never ending one but I experienced a reckoning as I experienced the transformative qualities of fire. I continue to trailblaze through my work with others as I help them to discover, know and share their unique gifts. Through creative collaboration and ushering people forward on their journey towards self-actualization, I continue to experience my own growth. My continued work is not just my career but the medicine and inspiration I get to offer to the world, to help liberate humanity in all of its manifestations– physical, mental, spiritual and emotional. I am a conscious creative– working on brand development and intuitive design. I am a medicine carrier– studying on the Mayan Path with Maestra Nataline R. Cruz. I am a movement magician, teaching much more than yoga from the four corners of my mat. I hope that my story will inspire others to live in their bliss, not because a fire forces them to do so, but because it is their inherent right." Join her @bcareyinc And join us at Unsent live in Denver for our Unsent Show - Friends Edition on Sat Jan 25th! Tix and info on Eventbrite HERE! Follow us @unsentshow for more Unsent Show fun times!
