Noah, the Flood and Babel

In this episode, we talk about Genesis chapters 5-11. God's just about had it with people and ready to wipe them out. But there's this one family that presents a possibility for a righteous thread of humanity. "Everybody, meet Noah. Noah, this is 'everybody.' We think they'd like to hear your story." Also, how did we get from one family in one land with one language to the modern craziness? Life is like a box of soap operas. And so is the Old Testament The fabled Enoch The Nephalim, wicked giants in the earth! Mankind is evil and God's truly had it with them. Really. Like, totally done. Except... there's this one guy. With great taste in music. A year on a boat with your whole family. And all their pets Release the birds! Giving thanks, and back to being fruitful and multiplying Noah plants a vineyard and hits the sauce A lot o' begattin' goin' on Hey! Let's build a fnord to the sknrblytz!

In The Beginning

In our first full episode, we discuss Genesis chapters 1-4, the origin of the earth and humanity, and a lot of the big "why" questions people struggle with when they confront the idea of God. The creation story - not all that different from the fossil record Why is humanity in charge of the earth? What was the serpent?
