The Paradox That is Motherhood

In this episode we get to sit and chat on the couch with Lorena (Lo). The absolutely coolest mom to a 13 year old. It was nothing short of amazing listening to her recount her experience of motherhood up to this point. Recognizing moments where she knew she would fall short but continued to give her best anyways. We discuss triggers that appear in each our motherhood journeys that we've both had to sort through as to not (emotionally) bleed all over our children.Lastly, we share keeping it real with our daughters- always sharing where we're at so that they're always able to recognize the humanity in us and not just see us "mom" the never ending giver.

It gets messy, it's beautiful, it's exhausting, it's funny and you doubt yourself. You have a tiny version of you walking outside in the world constantly mirroring you. Its an overall listening journey of the contradictory and balancing act that is motherhood.
