#118 You Have Been Processed, Not Grown
The most expensive thing you can buy is a guarantee. Because the guarantee always costs exactly the thing you were hoping the experience would give you. Real moments don't come with a spec sheet. They come from friction — the wrong weather, the unplanned detour, the conversation that goes somewhere you didn't intend. When you remove the friction, you don't get a better experience. You get a smoother one. Smooth is easy to sell. But nobody lies on their deathbed remembering how smoothly everything went. If an experience can be delivered on schedule, it was probably a product, not a life. Pay attention to which one you're actually buying.
