#74 What If Your Smallness Is the Only Greatness You Have Left?

You walk into a room and feel the need to announce yourself. Your title, your story, your latest victory. Watch yourself do this—it is a sickness. The sickness of someone who cannot bear to be just a body among bodies.

What if you entered as a silence? What if your presence added nothing, demanded nothing? That would be a greatness no title can grant you. That would be power you have never tasted.

You are trained from birth to matter, to leave a mark. But the mark you leave is just noise. Try being no one special in a room full of people. That requires more courage than any achievement.
