If you haven't heard of the band then this Episode will give you everything you need about discovering them. Its a terrific episode for the 10th Episode in this podcast season 1.
In this episode we have a summer treat for you and something a bit different. We've had many requests to share some of the stories across our episodes and we have now had the time to do that, This episode entitled "Brushes With Greatness" is the first of a few episodes that bring to life some of those stories that have had a theme and this one is where our bands have "brushed" against artists that were much more well known and in some cases legendary. We have hand chosen a number of clips from The Skids, B-Movie, The Chords, TV21, Roger Bechirian and Screen 3. Also watch out for our 3rd episode in our trilogy of episodes from bands in the Norfolk scene coming in the Autumn of this year. As always we would love your feedback on these types of episodes. Derek D'Souza features in this episode and although some of you may know him his story is one of dreams. He was a fan of the Jam and they then picked him to take photographs of them and then used them for their single. Its an unbelievable story and you wonder if it would happen today? He has photographed many of the bands we have featuresd on the podcast including Nine Below Zero, The Vapors, Faith Brothers, The Truth and many more. He has recently been photographing bands such as the Molotovs, the Strypes and the Rifles. All of this is covered on the podcast episode and he's worth a listen.
