Gloom, Despair, and Agony on me!”

It seems that everyday the news is full of “gloom and doom.” For those old enough to remember, the American TV program “Hee Haw” featured a segment with some of the cast singing a song about gloom and doom, then some sad but humorous story.  Sadly, bad news sells, but it is also true we live in some dangerous and gloomy times. If anything, Christians should be joyful, regardless of the circumstances, but far too often, many live a life of despair. The narrative is changing.

Today, Bob takes on a few topics that you need to hear. First, how even the mainstream media is beginning an unmistakable shift in their COVID narrative. The experts that demanded universal masking, forced vaccination, and social isolation are beginning to change their tune. Why? It’s a matter of life

The issue of life and abortion has become forefront in the news in the United States and much of the world. It seems there has been a systematic cheapening of life in our culture and a break with simple human morality. The world is divided in three distinct camps, those that support abortion, those that oppose abortion, and those that ignore the issue as not to appear political. Even many churches have unscriptural view on the topic. Today, Bob welcomes as his guest Pat Page. Pat is the director of the Pregnancy center in Jasper, GA. Pat Page has been serving in this ministry since 2009 when her youngest son graduated high school. She became Executive Director in 2012. She has been married to her husband, Jim Page for almost 40 years, and they have lived in North Georgia since they married in 1981. They have 4 grown children and 8 grandchildren.
