Over the years the Jehovah's Witnesses have added the word ""other" to Colossians 1:16-17 in there New World Translation. They claimed that the word was added to complete the meaning; however, it completely changes the meaning. Previously they had the word "other" in brackets with the aforementioned explanation. This all changed in the 2013 edition of the NWT. The word "other" is still present in those two verses, but the brackets are removed along with the explanation. Was it a mistake or on purpose?
