"HOPE" - ADVENT Series 2025 Week One

In this first week of Advent, we step into a season marked by waiting, expecting, celebrating, and spiritually preparingour hearts for the coming of Christ. Advent isn’t just a countdown to Christmas—it’s a reminder of the God who has come, is here, and will come again. Pastor Lindsey unpacks the rich history and purpose of Advent, explores its roots stretching back to the 4th century, and walks us through practical ways to observe this sacred season—including the meaning behind the Advent wreath and its candles. This week we light the First Candle: Hope, discovering that biblical hope is not wishful thinking—it’s a settled certainty, an active, confident expectation grounded in God’s character and His promises. From Genesis 3:15 to the birth of Jesus, the people of God held onto hope for over 4,000 years. Their waiting teaches us how to wait today: not impatiently, but with joy, trust, and lives entwined with the strength of God Himself. Through Scripture, story, and encouragement, we learn that hope is not passive. Hope waits, hope expects, hope anchors us, and hope reminds us that God always makes good on His promises. If you’re longing for renewal in this season—or needing your hope restored—this episode will help you slow down, breathe deep, and let your heart be re-centered on the One who is truly “worth the wait.”

"Having a Healthy Obsession" - Sunday Gathering November 23rd, 2025

In this week’s message, Pastor Lindsey invites us into a deeper look at what it really means to follow Jesus with a healthy obsession. Drawing from John 6:22–35 (NLT), we see a crowd chasing signs and miracles—not the Messiah Himself. Their obsession was unhealthy… but Jesus calls us into something far better: an all-encompassing devotion where He’s not another category in our lives—He’s the core, the SON around whom everything else orbits. We explore the tension between obsession and health, and how Scripture redirects us toward a steady, focused passion—a life where every decision, desire, and rhythm is surrendered under Christ’s lordship. Pastor Lindsey shares personally about seasons where life’s demands tried to become the “sun,” and how the way forward is found in a simple prayer: “Jesus, I just want to see You.” This message reminds us that transformation comes through beholding His face—the light, the joy, the restoring power found in the eyes of Jesus (Num. 6:25–26; Ps. 80:3; Ps. 89:15). This week’s challenge: Set your alarm 30 minutes earlier and spend that time pouring your love on Him—not asking, not complaining, but seeking His face. “Jesus, I love You. Restore our union. Wash me of anything not like You. Breathe new life into me.” Let this episode pull you out of distraction and back into devotion. Let it remind you that everything flourishes when Jesus is at the center.

The Gifts of Help! ft. George & Alethea Melton - November 16th, 2025

In this week’s episode, we had the honor of hearing from George and Alethea Melton as they shared a powerful word on what it means to live as a people shaped by service, compassion, and unity! Drawing from Romans 16:1–2 and Matthew 20:28, they reminded us that the Kingdom of God moves through ordinary people who choose to serve like Jesus did. With Luke 8:2–3, they highlighted how generosity has always fueled the work of the Gospel. Together, they walked us through Paul’s call to humility and gentleness in Ephesians 4:2–4, the invitation to forgive freely in Ephesians 4:32, and the blessing connected to caring for the overlooked (Proverbs 19:17). They reminded us that God still answers when we call (Jeremiah 33:3) and that service is one of the clearest ways we reflect His heart (Romans 12:7–13). They also pointed us to the early church in Acts 6:1–7—a community where serving practical needs mattered just as deeply as preaching—and showed how God equips His people with skill and excellence (Exodus 28:3). And with Titus 1:5, 1 Thessalonians 5:11, and Philippians 4:4, they encouraged us to finish the work God puts in our hands, build one another up, and choose joy every single day. This episode is a heartfelt call from George and Alethea to slow down, pay attention, and let Jesus shape us into a people who serve with joy, forgive with tenderness, love with purpose, and carry His presence into every room. You’re going to be encouraged, challenged, and deeply blessed by their message.

The Apostles' Creed

In this teaching, Pastor Lindsey walks through the Apostles’ Creed line by line, revealing how this ancient confession keeps us anchored in our first love—Jesus. Each phrase of the Creed is more than tradition; it’s a declaration of truth that has united believers for centuries. From the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth… to Christ’s descent, resurrection, and ascension… to the Holy Spirit and the communion of saints—every word reminds us what we believe and why it matters. In a world that constantly tries to reimagine God in its own image, this message calls us back to steadfast faith. Like four flats on a Cadillac, we’re called to stay grounded in the truth of who Jesus really is—letting that truth shape how we live, love, serve, and stand firm. Key Scriptures: Genesis 1–2 • Isaiah 44:24 • John 19 • Luke 24 • Ephesians 1 • John 14:26 • 1 Corinthians 15 • Hebrews 10:23 • John 8:31-32 Takeaway: The Apostles’ Creed isn’t just something to recite—it’s the simplest and most profound summary of our faith, reminding us to keep first things first: Jesus is our first love.

"All of life THROUGH Christ." - November 2nd, 2025

What does it really mean to live through Christ — not just for Him? In this week’s message, Pastor Lindsey unpacks the essence of our new life in Jesus: union. The Apostle Paul calls it “the most significant aspect” of our faith — that the Anointed One lives in us, and we in Him. Through Scripture, stories, and reflection, we’re reminded that every season — winter, spring, summer, and fall — is meant to be experienced while staying connected to the Vine. Whether it’s your work, parenting, marriage, singleness, or even moments of loss, life through Christ transforms the ordinary into sacred. Join us as we rediscover what it means to move toward Christ in every area of life and embrace the truth that: “All of life is meant to be lived through Christ.”

"Death to the Performance" PART 2 - October 2025 Series

In this message from Week 2 of our Death to Performance series, Pastor Lindsey Melton Jr. takes us into Luke 15:11–24and Romans 5:8–10, revealing the heart of the Father toward His children who’ve wandered. Sin isn’t just breaking rules—it’s living out of tune with God’s original design. Yet even at our furthest distance, the Father still sees us and runs toward us with compassion, not condemnation. Discover how Jesus breaks the mindset of earning approval, replacing performance with union, identity, and grace. You’ll learn: What “Hamartia” really means and how sin distorts our telos (purpose). Why the Father runs to meet us before judgment can reach us. How God clothes us with righteousness and restores our authority in Christ. How Screwtape’s old tricks still aim to trap believers in performance. 💬 “Jesus didn’t die so you could keep performing for approval. He died so you could live free, loved, and secure in His finished work.” Tune in, take a breath, and remember: Home is found in union with the Father, Son, and Spirit.

Death to the Performance PART 1 - October Series 2025

This week kicks off our new series Death to Performance — a call to stop striving and start resting in the finished work of Jesus. In this message, Pastor Lindsey walks through John 3 and Romans 3 to show that righteousness can’t be earned through religious effort or good behavior — it’s received through faith alone. The Pharisees performed for approval. Jesus offered freedom through grace. If you’ve ever felt the pressure to prove your worth to God, this one’s for you. Come rediscover what it means to live unburdened — no masks, no performance, no shoes!

"Selah" - "The Psalms" series week 3, September 21st, 2025

This week we leaned into the word Selah—an intentional pause to reflect, not passivity. In Psalm 46, penned by the sons of Korah during Hezekiah’s reign, Israel faced overwhelming threats from the Assyrians. Yet God heard their cry and responded by sending an angel who destroyed 185,000 soldiers and saved Jerusalem. Selah—pause and remember the God who hears and answers. Big Idea: “Pausing to reflect on the nature of God anchors our hearts. The more we behold who He is, the deeper our trust and confidence in Jesus becomes.” Highlights God’s dwelling place is us (Ps 46:4, Eph 2:22). We are His address! God ends conflicts (Ps 46:9). He says, “I’ll finish it.” Be still & know (Ps 46:10). The Hebrew know means to know by experience. Be still and experience God as Healer, Commander of angel armies, Refuge, Way Maker, and Storm Calmer. Selah is an anchor in chaos—whether military threats, natural disasters, or today’s anxieties: wars, disease, disasters, violence. Daily Rhythm of Selah (S-E-L-A-H) Stop — pause at built-in moments (meals, red lights, doorways). Exhale — breathe out: “I surrender my anxiety.” Listen — ask, “Lord, where are You here?” Anchor — speak a verse aloud (Ps 46:10, Ps 23:1, Ps 46:1). Hand it over — release one worry into His hands. Practical Selah moments: traffic lights, inboxes, doorways, “send” buttons, or simply putting your phone face down for 10 minutes in the morning.

"Lamenting" - The Psalms Series - September 14,2025

The Psalms | Episode 2: Lament Is for a Season The Psalms teach us how to live in communion with God and lift our lives to Him—even in sorrow. This week we enter the language of lament: the cries, questions, and groans of the soul. David, the giant-killer king, penned Psalm 13 asking, “How long, O Lord?” Psalm 88 ends in darkness. Psalm 22 begins with anguish yet points straight to the cross and resurrection. Here’s the truth: even leaders struggle, even saints feel forgotten. But lament is not unbelief—it’s worship in the dark. It’s prophecy in the pain. And Jesus Himself sang the song of lament to show us the turnaround was already written.

"Delighting in The Word" - The Psalms Series week 1 -September 7th

The Psalms | Episode 1: Delighting in the Word The Psalms are not just read, they’re lived. They are the Spirit-breathed songs that train us to pray, worship, lament, and rejoice until every part of life is lived in Him and lifted to Him. Psalm 1 shows us the secret: the righteous don’t obey out of duty but delight—love-driven obedience that plants us by the river and makes us fruitful in every season. Psalm 2 reminds us: refuge in Jesus is better than the best place you’ve ever been doing the best thing you’ve ever done. Big Idea: Joy, pleasure, and satisfaction are found in the Word of the Lord.
